A beloved Canadian treat, these bite-sized doughnuts are fried to golden perfection and tossed in a sweet cinnamon sugar coating. Perfectly sweet and slightly chewy, they are ideal for sharing or enjoying as a delightful snack.

Sift together dry ingredients.
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the beaten eggs, milk, and oil until well combined. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until a smooth batter forms.
Heat oil in a deep pot to 190°C (375°F). Carefully drop rounded teaspoonfuls of batter into the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, turning gently, until golden brown and cooked through.
Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried timbits from the hot oil and place them on a wire rack set over paper towels to drain any excess oil.
