Every evening you don't have a dinner decided, you're spending mental energy you don't have left. By 5pm, after work, school runs, and everything else, deciding "what's for dinner" from scratch is one decision too many. A week of dinners planned in advance — even loosely — removes that decision from your evening entirely and replaces it with just... cooking.
The good news is that planning a full week doesn't need to be a big production. Done with a simple method, it takes about 30 minutes, once a week, and pays that time back many times over by Thursday.
